CALLING ALL FOREST GLEN BOYS AND GIRLS!
Cub Scout Pack 51’s mission is to encourage all boys and girls to make friends, be helpful to others, and do their very best, no matter the outcome. With the help of powerful learning projects and exciting outdoor activities, we aim to teach children that doing their best can be a fun and rewarding experience—no matter the difficulty of the challenge.

Scouts walk the Forest Glen neighborhood collecting donated grocery bags, then deliver everything to the Glen House Food Pantry. Bring wagons and flashlights. Last year: nearly 1,000 lbs collected.

Scouts race their hand-built wooden cars down a 42-foot track. Pack 51 also hosts a joint Girl Scouts derby. Girl Scouts race at 4:30 PM; Cub Scouts at 7:00 PM.

Two hours of bowling, pizza, and a drink for every scout. Family members are welcome to join and pay at the door. A low-key, high-energy December tradition.

Overnight at the Field Museum in Chicago. Scouts sleep among the dinosaurs — a once-a-year experience.
